Our History

Titlers Professional Corporation was established by George Smith in historic Port Perry, ON. The firm has been serving communities in Durham Region and surrounding areas for over 40 years.

Our Namesake

Titlers has been able to expand to serve all of Ontario through the development of online services. The name Titlers is intended to represent not only the comprehensive range of legal services we provide relating to the title to real estate but also the new and sophisticated ways in which our practice is organized to handle real estate closings. We use modern, team-oriented methods in order to achieve satisfying outcomes.

Our Firm

GEORGE SMITH

George is one of our lawyers at the firm. George started as a sole practitioner and has focused his practice to real estate law over the past 40 years. While his practice focuses on residential and commercial real estate, George is also well experienced in agricultural transactions, development and title issues.

George is a graduate of Queen’s University (B.A.), and Osgoode Hall Law School (L.L.B).

Megan Beck

Megan was born and raised in Sunderland, ON and has worked at Titlers since 2014. Starting as a Summer Student, then a Client Representative and recently, has transitioned into the role as a Lawyer at the firm. She attended Lakehead University, Bora Laskin Faculty of Law in Thunder Bay for her legal education, where she graduated with First Class Standing.

She looks forward to building her career with a focus on real estate law in the Scugog community as well as throughout Durham Region and the Kawartha Lakes!
